A website for the shop on the corner, open even when you're closed.

Presora builds a website for independent shops and general stores that tells people what you carry, when you're open and why you're worth the trip. Special order requests come in through the site, and a chatbot handles the questions people would otherwise phone about.

The problem

What shops lose online without noticing.

  • People check before they drive over

Before visiting, customers look up your hours and whether you have what they need. If they find nothing, or hours from three years ago, they go to the chain store they already know.
  • "Do you carry this?" calls during the rush

The phone rings with stock questions while there's a line at the register. Some can be answered from a list of what you carry; the rest just need to reach you in writing.
  • The shop's character doesn't come across

Your local makers, the gift wrapping, the workshops in the back room. Online, without a site of your own, you look like any other dot on a map.

Your site

The pages a shop site needs.

  • Home

The storefront, today's hours and what makes the shop worth visiting.

  • Shop

Your products with photos, prices, sizes and colours, each with an order button, so people can buy without phoning.

  • Visit

Address, hours, holiday hours, parking and accessibility, the page most visitors need.

  • Events and workshops

Tastings, signings, classes and seasonal markets, kept current in a sentence.

  • Our story

Who runs the shop and why. Customers choose independents for the people behind them.

  • Special orders

A form for requests, holds and items you don't usually stock.

The chatbot

Answers customers while you work.

  • Do you sell birthday cards and gift wrap?

Yes, both. The What we carry page shows our main departments. If you're after something specific, leave your email and the shop will let you know if it's in.

  • Are you open on the holiday weekend?

Holiday hours are posted on the Visit page as soon as they're set. If you need to know about a particular day, I can take your question and pass it to the team.

  • Can you order something in for me?

Often, yes. Tell me what you're looking for and how to reach you, and I'll send it through as a special order request.

What Presora sets up

Everything around the website, already connected.

  • Hours and window displays, updated in a sentence

Type "set holiday hours for the week of the 24th" or "add the new candle maker to what we carry". Hosting and HTTPS come included.
  • Stock and hours questions, answered

The chatbot learns what you carry, your hours, services like gift wrapping and policies, answers shoppers 24/7 and passes specific requests to you.
  • Special orders that don't get lost

A special order form collects the item, quantity and contact details. Requests from forms and the chatbot land in one leads inbox with a notification.
  • Appointments and private shopping

If you offer personal shopping, gift consultations or after-hours visits, customers book a slot within the hours, length and notice you set.
  • Remember your best customers

Keep special order customers and regulars as contacts, tag them by interest, and set reminders to tell them when their item arrives.
  • A shop address that isn't your personal one

Get addresses like hello@ and orders@ with a full inbox, forwarding rules and labels, on your own domain once it's connected.

Questions

Straight answers.

Can I sell products online with Presora?

Your site gets product listings with photos, prices, sizes and colours. A customer picks what they want and sends an order request, which lands in your leads inbox with the product, size, colour and quantity; you confirm and take payment the way you do now. There's no built-in card checkout, but any product's button can point to a payment link, Etsy listing or existing online store instead.

I have no website at all. Is that a problem?

No. You answer a few plain-language questions and Presora writes and designs a full multi-page site. Most businesses are live within a day.

How do I change the hours for a holiday?

Type the change in plain English, like "closed on the 25th and 26th", or click the hours in the visual editor. Version history keeps earlier versions if you need to switch back.

Do I get a web address?

Every site gets a free yourname.presora.co address with HTTPS. You can connect your own domain on Growth and above.

What does Presora cost?

Presora is free during the private beta. After launch, Essentials is $20 a month billed annually, Growth is $100 a month billed annually, Enterprise is priced with you on a call. Monthly billing is also available.
