Every appointment begins with a consultation, so the cut, colour or finish suits your hair, your face and the time you actually spend on it each morning.

Cutting & shaping

Precision cuts for every length and texture, shaped around the way your hair falls so it still works on the days you don't style it.

Colour

Gloss, all-over colour and grey blending, mixed for your skin tone and planned so regrowth looks soft rather than stark.

Balayage & highlights

Hand-painted lightness placed where the sun would put it, for colour that grows out gently between visits.

Blow-dries & styling

Smooth and polished or full of movement — a finish for a dinner, an interview or simply a better week.

Treatments

Bond-repair and deep-conditioning treatments for hair that feels dry, coloured or tired.

Bridal & occasion

A small salon, on purpose

Maison Lumière is an appointment-only hair salon in Brooklyn, built around one idea: you should leave with hair that suits you, not simply the look of the season.

The diary is kept unhurried, so there is time to listen at the start of every visit — to your hair's history, how you wear it and how much time you want to give it. Then we cut, colour and finish with that in mind, and tell you honestly what will and won't work.

Whether you come in for a trim, a change of colour or your wedding morning, the aim is the same: hair that looks like you on a good day, every day.
